1 cup flour
1 cup milk
3 tbsp NOMU cocoa powder
3 tbsp SWEETLY Baking Sugar Substitute
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp NOMU vanilla extract, vanilla paste or vanilla essence
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted and cooled
We suggest you make the sauce first to allow it to cool to your desired temperature and consistency.
Heat the cream in a small saucepan over medium heat but do not allow to boil. Whisk the cocoa powder and SWEETLY Baking Sugar Substitute into the cream and allow to gently simmer until slightly thickened. Finally, whisk the butter into the sauce – pour into a jug and place some cling film or baking paper directly onto the surface of the sauce so that it does not form a skin. Allow to cool to your desired temperature and thickness. The cooler it gets, the thicker the sauce becomes.
Simply pop all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Ladle spoonfuls of the pancake mixture onto a hot pan. Cook for approx 1 minute until bubbles appear at the surface, then flip the pancakes over to cook on the other side – approx 30 seconds. Serve Immediately with a generous drizzle of chocolate sauce.
